Physical, on-screen, and virtual interfaces for products. Additional work that covers future products for consumer electronics in the TV, remote control and audio categories.
Remote Control - Concepts
Designing controls within strict screen limitations. Designing for a programmatic way of construction the interface, which is also required to conserve space on the chip that the graphics will be burnt onto.

Remote Control - UI - Codename: Beijing
Designed a touch-screen interface for this Universal RC. The challenge is placing the controls for different use cases in logical locations with limited physical LEDs & and physical space considerations.
Remote Control - UI - Codename: Denon1
Designed an interface feedback system within a highly restrictive space. Fixed display size. Static display and animation were possible within this display.

Remote Control - UI - Fixed Resolution
Designing controls within strict screen limitations. Designing for a programmatic way of construction the interface, which is also required to conserve space on the chip that the graphics will be burnt onto.
Remote Control - UI - Codename: Eindhoven04A
Designing an interface for a Universal RC that was 75% touch based.

Gesture Remote Study. Examining the ways that natural gestures could be used to control devices via a remote control.

Audio & CD Interface. Fixed segment interface for audio device.

Physical Prototyping. I created a physical space where a user could test a TV On-screen-display via a remote control. The TV was connected to a computer and that computer was connected to an IR receiver. The flash app I built would translate the button press on the remote control and convert it to a menu action on the TV.

UI Alignment - Acer. Travelled to Taiwan to work with Acer's Design and UI team to align the product UI's across their range of products and craft a POV around the Principles of Design as they apply to digital interfaces across products.

TV OSD Guidelines. The design of the interface for 'low-end' TVs. This also required the detail to be documented to enable production and future revisions to have a source of reference.

Microsoft / Philip RC. Interface design for a remote control that functioned with the Microsoft Media Centre.
